UNIQUE CONCEPT BY BOURY
The Boury Academy is the unique traineeship program of three michelin-starred restaurant ‘Boury’. It is a private initiative that provides aspiring chefs, waiters, sommeliers, and other hospitality professionals from around the world with the opportunity to learn and gain hands-on experience in the kitchen or service team of a Michelin-starred restaurant.
Although traineeships initially took place exclusively at Boury, trainees now also have the opportunity to complete their internship at one of the partnering restaurants.
As a gastronomic restaurant with a talented team, we have a deep understanding of what trainees need to learn and experience. This insight allows us to serve as a knowledge center for motivated individuals, providing them with the skills and experience necessary to excel in the industry.
Candidates gain valuable insights into modern European gastronomy, discipline, mentality, and day-to-day operations, making it a highly enriching experience.
The internship program is a fully certified formation program and assists in the visum application procedure.
The program lasts for 3 months (non-European applicants) up to 6 months (European applicants or visum holders), during which internships at 2 different restaurants are possible.
Successful interns might be invited to join the permanent staff or will be assisted in finding a favorable position in the network.

YOUNG GRADUATES
Recently graduated and looking for your first steps in gastronomy? Then this program might be your way in. As a young graduate, you will be guided intensively by one of the chef de parties which will allow you to grow quickly into a responsible role in a fine dining team.
After completing the internship program successfully, you will be either offered a permanent position in our team or we will help you looking out for great learning opportunities and jobs in Belgium or abroad to continue your career.
PROFESSIONALS
Never too old to learn, right? Especially not when you are into gastronomy. New products, new methods... it never stops.
This internship program gives you the opportunity to join our team for a short period (2-3 months) and get soaked into the Boury philosophy before heading back to your position in the restaurant where you work.
STUDENTS
As a student in Culinary Arts (Bachelor or similar), you can apply for an internship position completing your scholar program.
Note that, for visum purposes, only candidates with a European passport are eligible for a permanent staff position in Belgium (except for senior profiles like sous-chefs, chefs and pastry professionals)
