UNIQUE CONCEPT BY
The Boury Academy is a private initiative to offer young chefs, waiters, sommeliers... from around the globe the opportunity to learn and gain experience in the kitchen or service team of Restaurant Boury in Roeselare, Belgium.
As a gastronomic restaurant with a great team of talented players, our concept serves as a knowledge centre for motivated people.
Candidates get a good insight in modern, European gastronomy, discipline, mentality and day-to-day life. A very enriching experience.
The internship program is a fully certified formation program and assists in the visum application procedure.
The program lasts for 3 months (non-European applicants) up to 6 months (European applicants).
Successful interns might be invited to join the permanent staff.
WHO ARE THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMS FOR?
Recently graduated and looking for your first steps in gastronomy? Then this program might be your way in. As a young graduate, you will be guided intensively by one of the chef de parties which will allow you to grow quickly into a responsible role in a fine dining team.
After completing the internship program successfully, you will be either offered a permanent position in our team or we will help you looking out for great learning opportunities and jobs in Belgium or abroad to continue your career.
Never too old to learn, right? Especially not when you are into gastronomy. New products, new methods... it never stops.
This internship program gives you the opportunity to join our team for a short period (2-3 months) and get soaked into the Boury philosophy before heading back to your position in the restaurant where you work.
As a student in Culinary Arts (Bachelor or similar), you can apply for an internship position completing your scholar program.
Note that, for visum purposes, only candidates with a European passport are eligible for a permanent staff position (except for senior profiles like sous-chefs, chefs and pastry professionals)
