
DESCRIPTION
As a Intern Assistant Sommelier, you will gain hands-on experience in one of Europe’s leading fine-dining restaurants. Working closely with the Chef Sommelier, you will learn about wine service, pairings, and guest interaction at Michelin-star level. This internship offers a unique opportunity to develop your wine knowledge, palate, and service skills in a refined and ambitious environment.
REQUIREMENTS
Student or recent graduate from a recognized hospitality or sommelier-related program.
Strong passion for wine, fine dining, and gastronomy.
Ability to work under pressure with precision and attention to detail.
Eager to learn, adaptable, and motivated to grow within a professional team.
Basic knowledge of wine service and hospitality hygiene standards.
Flexible, team-minded, and service-oriented.
Proficiency in English.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with the daily preparation and organization of the wine and beverage service.
Support Chef Sommelier during service, including wine presentation and service.
Learn to advise guests on wine selections and wine pairings under supervision.
Participate in wine tastings, trainings, and product knowledge sessions.
Help maintain proper storage, handling, and inventory of the wine cellar.
Ensure high standards of service, hygiene, and professionalism at all times.
Contribute to a positive, team-oriented, and service-driven atmosphere.
