DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a highly professional, service-driven assistant maître to support the chef maître in daily management. You will contribute to delivering an exceptional guest experience at the highest gastronomic level, while helping lead, coordinate, and inspire the service team.

REQUIREMENTS


  • Education: Training in hospitality, hotel management, or a related field is an advantage

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in fine dining or Michelin-starred restaurants; experience in a supervisory role is highly valued

  • Service mindset: Strong guest focus with a natural sense of hospitality and discretion

  • Leadership: Proven ability to guide, motivate, and support a service team

  • Organisation: Structured, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure

  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Languages:  prefered Dutch, French and English is an asset

  • Eligibility: European passport required

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting the head maître in overseeing daily restaurant operations and service

  • Ensuring an impeccable guest experience, from arrival to departure

  • Leading and coordinating the front-of-house team during service

  • Maintaining the highest standards of hospitality, etiquette, and professionalism

  • Actively welcoming guests and managing reservations and table flow

  • Training, coaching, and supporting the service team

  • Ensuring consistency, precision, and calm leadership during service

  • Collaborating closely with the kitchen and sommelier team

  • Ensuring compliance with hygiene, safety, and service protocols

  • Contributing to a refined, respectful, and performance-driven working atmosphere
